What is this?
Double Reverse Survivor is an internet-based writing contest and game show, perversely modeled after the CBS reality show of a similar name. At the beginning of each season, a group of writers is stranded on my imaginary Island of Doom Flowers and Cake. Why Doom Flowers and Cake? Who doesn't like Flowers and Cake? Jackasses, that's who. Every couple of weeks, the castaways complete a creative writing assignment. All entries are posted here on the site and then the players rank all the other entries. They don't rank themselves. At the end of each round, the authors of the lowest-ranked entries are eliminated. There will be an audio Tribal Council where the losers find out the bad news and I read the snarky comments the players make about each other. I usually play some kazoo. After four rounds, we're left with the winners, who get ranked by everyone else. The top three winners get prizes.
